    WHAT PEOPLE SAY

    Better balance

    Standing straighter

    Better balance

Balance is better and ease of movement in my knees. This class is fantastic, very friendly and funny. I really enjoy Monday mornings. Well done Helen, it's a pleasure to be here.

    More flexible

    Standing straighter

    Better balance

Feeling good, more flexible with joints, more so with my knees due to osteoarthritis. Generally more relaxed. Really appreciate the time given which is helping in my wellbeing.

    Standing straighter

    Standing straighter

    Standing straighter

More mobility, standing up straighter. At 76 years of age my whole body was poor with  regular falls. I now attend 3  of Helen's classes  per week and mobility and wellbeing vastly improved.

    Loosened up

    Beneficial for arthritis

    Standing straighter

I have gradually loosened up, having osteoarthritis and osteoporosis it has helped me greatly and it's a very warm and friendly class and teacher is wonderful. Hoping these exercises continue as it gives me something to look forward to and have felt more flexible since coming.

    Neck problems improved

    Beneficial for arthritis

    Beneficial for arthritis

Movement in general has improved. I walk for 40 minutes as often as I can and my neck problems have improved. We all look forward to the social side of the class and making new friendships which extend, in many cases, beyond the classes.

    USE IT OR LOSE IT

Above are a few pics so you can see what to expect from a chair based exercise class. Stand up, sit down or a mixture of the two it's up to you. We include exercises for flexibility, balance, strengthening and stretches, using soft balls to strengthen your wrists and hands, resistance bands to strengthen your legs and arms, standing balance exercises, a large ball for upper body strength and we sometimes use with pom poms - just for a laugh!!.
